A country highly dependent on road transport, with congested cities, higher logistics costs, increasing environmental impacts, and territorial fragmentation that limits our development. Meanwhile, Chile is moving toward a more urban future, with greater demands for mobility and higher expectations for efficiency, sustainability, and integration.<\/p><p>In this context, the railway is not a look back to the past, but a strategic response to the future. It is a system capable of moving large volumes of people and cargo efficiently, safely, and with less environmental impact. It is an infrastructure that not only transports goods, but also shapes the territory, reduces inequalities, and enhances the country's competitiveness.<\/p><p>We believe it's time to reclaim a long-term vision. To understand that mobility is not an end in itself, but a tool for economic development, social cohesion, and quality of life. Investing in rail means investing in a more integrated Chile, where cities are intelligently connected, where logistics flow efficiently, and where opportunities don't depend on where you come from.<\/p><p>Trains for Chile 2050 is not just an infrastructure proposal. It's a national vision. An invitation to rethink how we move, how we grow, and how we project ourselves into the future. Because leading countries don't improvise their development: they plan it.<\/p><p>Chile has the opportunity to rebuild itself around a modern, efficient, and sustainable network.
